Grade 2 Common Core Mathematics
Summer Solutions Common Core Math Grade 2 is for students who have completed 2nd Grade.
The Common Core State Standards require children leaving 2nd Grade to be able to add and subtract with regrouping; understand place value; compare two- and three-digit numbers; work with geometric shapes and their attributes; perform simple measurements and conversions; work with time and money; use groups of objects to understand multiplication; and solve word problems.
30 lessons of mixed review over a 10-week period provide ongoing practice that ensures retention of these important math skills and concepts, which are addressed in 2nd Grade. By completing just one lesson three days per week, students enter 3rd Grade ready to learn new material right away.
